'Love Bug' is a short stop-motion animation that was created as a response to the 'Insect Apocalypse'- a term used to describe decreasing insect populations as the result of climate change, urbanisation, pollution, etc. Through the anthropomorphisation of its characters, the film seeks to encourage viewers to reconsider their instinct to kill insects. Not only do they deserve the right to their own lives, but essentially, we are dependent on their lives too.
